IMDB synopsis: A successful, single businesswoman who dreams of having a baby discovers she is infertile and hires a working class woman to be her unlikely surrogate.
Best parts: Tina Fey, interesting plot twist, laughed out loud a few times
Worst parts: Angie’s character was a little too much, and I hate Dax Shepard’s face
Ratings
Plot: Woman needs to have a baby ASAP plot was been done a lot recently. The writing was funny though, and the characters were likable. (7/10)
Cast/Acting: Tina Fey is always great, and her an Poehler’s chemistry is amazing. Dax Shepard was funny even though his character was annoying, and his face in annoying. Romany Malco’s character was a hilarious supporting role. As was Steven Martin’s. (7/10)
Personal Rating: I had no interest in this movie at first, but it was funny and cute. I liked that the plot wasn’t totally predictable, and I love pretty much anything involving Tina Fey. (4/5)
Special Effects/Costume and Makeup: Fake pregnancy belly was realistic, although Angie’s face probably should have gotten chubbier. Fey’s character was dresses just as you would expect. (2/2.5)
Soundtrack: Music was current, trendy. (2/2.5)

The Price of Pleasure is a documentary are the porn industry, and its effects on relationships and sexuality.
I won’t review this movie like most since it’s a documentary.
I learned a lot of really disturbing things about the porn industry and how negatively it effects women. I’ve always believed women have the right to do sex work, and more power to them! But it’s important to remember how it can objectify women as well.
Porn stars themselves can be forced to do a lot of acts, like AtM, that they do not want to do.
And women who watch porn can become desensitized. One male discussed how to continually showed his girlfriend porn of anal sex until she was no longer disgusted by it and let him to it to her.
4/5 stars for being well put together, informative, and non judgmental. Both sides of the argument were shown and studies were used to back all information.
Finally, men who watch porn can get a lot of idea about sex that are pretty scary. The top ten porn films at any time usually involve choking, gagging bondage, or other forms of sexual violence. Watching enough of this can make someone believe a woman wants it, or enjoy it.
Not to mention how porn effects PoC, or children.
If you’re curious about the negative effects of porn (that isn’t preachy, religious, or condemning) this is a great documentary to watch.
This isn’t a real review. I got 25 minutes in to the movie, and I decided I wasn’t interested enough to keep watching. But I did try! Maybe with more time I would have started to care about Bart and his virginity, but it was meh. 1/5 stars I’d say.
Dale and his drug dealer Saul are on the run after Dale witnesses Ted Jones (Saul’s supplier) and a lady cop killing the competition. Hilarity ensues.
Best parts: Saul and Dale frolicking in the woods, the beef between henchmen Matheson and Budlofsky,
Worst parts: It’s totally unrealistic that Red survived his head being thrown through a wall, two gun shots, and various other super violent thing.

Plot: I love the entire story line, silly shenanigans and all. The writing is awesome, like the “It’s like my thumb is my dick” and “Talk radio? So boring, man! The car just committed suicide.” made the movie hilarious. The ending is pretty predictable but since it isn’t a thriller/horror/suspense film I don’t think that matters too much. (8/10)
Cast/Acting: This cast is perfect. Seth Rogan, James Franco, Danny McBride, Gary Cole, and Amber Heard all kill it in their roles. Seth and James chemistry make their friendship totally believable. (9/10)
Cinematography: This movie obviously isn’t an artistic masterpiece, but since it isn’t a serious movie I’m not going to hold that against them. (3/5)
Special Effects/Costume and Makeup: Car crashes, gun shots, and explosions are all believable, at least. When Dale’s ear is shot off, it looks totally real. (2.5/2.5)
Soundtrack: I feel like for a stoner movie, the soundtrack could have been a lot better. (1.5/2.5)
Final rating: 4/5 stars
I read this book series (which was titled ‘Full Frontal Snogging” not “Perfect Snogging”) in middle school, so I didn’t remember too much of the story when I watched the movie. Georgia Nicolson (Georgia Groome) and her best friend Jazz spend the movie trying to win of the hearts of two very handsome twins to have just moved to their school. Georgia is a bit of a selfish idiot and manages to really muck things up with her friends, the boy of her dreams, and a bunch of other boys who for some reason all want to date her. Aaron Johnson plays her love interest, Robbie. He is super good looking and plays bass.
I loved the movie, it was hilarious and fresh and Georgia Groome was too cute. The movie captured the spirit of the book so well. I was reminded of everything I wanted in life when I was 14 (an awesome party in a club with all my friends ever, a super attractive boyfriend, and a group of close friends to spend all my time with). Even though Georgia is kind of a terrible person, you;re super pumped for her when at the end of the movie everything turns out absolutley perfect.
I give the movie 4/5 stars, because it was fun and cute and everything you expect a movie based on a young adult novel to be. And read the books if you haven’t!
